How To Make The Last Word

The Last Word is a pre-prohibition era cocktail that's coming back strong. With bold flavors from green chartreuse and maraschino liqueur, this is one of my favorites. 



EQUIPMENT

  1. Cocktail set (includes Boston shaker, jigger, bar spoon, hawthorne strainer, fine mesh strainer, julep strainer, muddler, cocktail picks)
  2. Coupe glasses
  3. Angled measuring jigger 
  4. Citrus juice squeezer

The Last Word

  • .75oz (22.5ml) of dry gin
  • .75oz (22.5ml) of green chartreuse 
  • .75oz (22.5ml) of maraschino liqueur 
  • .75oz (22.5ml) of fresh lime juice
  1. Add all ingredients to a shaker tin
  2. Add ice and shake for 15 seconds
  3. Double strain into chilled coupe glass
