The "Peppermint Patty" from Archer

The "Peppermint Patty" is an Archer original, a boozy minty hot cocoa that warms your belly on a cold night. Here we recreate the original and offer a slight modification (spoiler: it's more booze). 



EQUIPMENT

  1. Cocktail set (Includes Boston shaker, jigger bar spoon, hawthorne strainer, muddler)

  2. Angled measuring jigger

  3. Sauce pan


Peppermint Patty

  • 6oz (180ml) whole milk

  • 2 tablespoons dark hot cocoa

  • 1oz (30ml) peppermint schnapps

  • 1/2oz (15ml) creme de cacao

  • 1/2 barspoon of creme de menthe

  • Boozy enhancement: 1.5oz (45ml) of brandy

  1. Combine milk and cocoa, stir and bring to a boil

  2. Immediately remove from heat and add to a mug

  3. Add in the rest of the ingredients, stir, and serve
